Since storm season is approaching, I'd thought that I'd review this mid to late 90's blockbuster, which is about a team of storm chasers that develop a machine called "Dorothy", that is designed to help them study tornadoes. For a film from the 1990's, the special effects are really good, and it's a really intense film. Parents, I don't think you wanna show your kids this film because, not only it's intense but, there is a really good amount of foul language. And, there is this dinner table scene which I think should've been cut from the film. And there's also a scene, where a tornado rips through a drive in theater, and because of that, I guarantee you that your kids might be afraid of going to a drive-in movie. Especially on a cloudy night, let alone a stormy night for that matter. And the movie that the filmmakers chose for that was the 1980 R-rated Stanley Kubrick horror movie "The Shining" So, I don't think you would wanna show your kids, especially your young kids this film.

There are scenes that I think should've been deleted, there's foul language, and the overall theme of the picture is, not that good. I think the movie industry should come up with a new rating, that lies between PG-13 and R, say like a PG-15 or something. Seriously people, I think you should skip this film.

Everyone was so hyped up for it, including me and some friends of mine while we were in the car, on our way to the IMAX theater! This film is one of the best Star Wars films ever! Then, the rebels dispatch to Endor, to destroy a second Death Star, and Luke must convince Darth Vader to return from the Dark Side, without falling into Emperor Palpatine's trap.
This one, is a childhood favorite of mine, and I remember watching this one countless times when I was younger. Parents, I think this one is ok for your young kids. I don't recall this film scaring me very much, if at all.

Parents, If you want to introduce your young children to this juggernaut franchise, start with this film. Don't start with The Phantom Menace. This is the shortest one in the Episodic Skywalker Saga, and your little ones might be interested more in than the other films.

Parents, this is the first Star Wars film to be rated PG-13. It's probably a bit more violent than The Last Jedi, so I'd be Skeptical about showing this film to your little ones. But, if you want to, that's totally up to you.

I fondly remember seeing this film when it was in theaters when I was at least 9 years old. Me and my family went on a family trip to Emporia Kansas, where we went and some family history work. Seeing the movie, was the last thing we did before going back to the motel for the night, and it has my most favorite scene in the whole franchise, the speeder chase scene! Parents, this is (so far) the last Star Wars movie to be rated PG, and I think it's ok for your younger ones.

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
Like I said in my review for "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown," I believe that this is the time of year for Charlie Brown. In "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving," Charlie's friends "invite" themselves over to his home for a "thanksgiving dinner." Not knowing what to do, He along with Linus and Snoopy, prepare a thanksgiving dinner that consisted of Toast, Popcorn, Pretzel Sticks, and Candy. In the end, he invites his friends to join him and his family at his grandma's for a real thanksgiving dinner. This half-hour special shows that thanksgiving isn't an American holiday that's just turkey and pumpkin pie, it's really about what your thankful for!

Although it's not the best in the series, but it's probably the longest. Parents, despite the fact that this is a Disney film, it is however rated PG-13 for violence. So, unless your into these movies, You probably don't wanna show this film to your little ones.

In this 3rd installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean Franchise, Captain Barbossa, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann set sail to rescue Jack Sparrow from Davy Jones' locker, and make their final alliances for one last decisive battle. Although it's not the best in the series, but it's probably the longest. Parents, despite the fact that this is a Disney film, it is however rated PG-13 for violence. So, unless your into these movies, You probably don't wanna show this film to your little ones.

In this sequel to Curse of the black pearl, (Captain) Jack Sparrow (Depp) must avoid enslaving himself to Davy Jones, by racing to recover his heart. Other friends and foes, do so as well. I think that this is a good second installment of the Pirates series. It has lots of action, and a rather sad cliffhanger ending. Parents, despite the fact that this movie was produced by Disney, but the Pirates of the Caribbean films are rated PG-13. So, I'd click here, before showing this film to your kids.
